good muting and safe though not the most aesthetic
Pros: good level of muting and rubber design menas less risk of damage to bridge and less risk of damage to violin when accidentally shutting the lid of the violin case on it as opposed to traditional ebony mutes.
Cons: makes it a bit difficult to hear pitch correctly and so cannot purely rely on practicing with mute alone.

Must have for all players
Pros: Easy to fit and works well. This has made it so I can practise without disturbing my neighbours (I live in a tenement building) nor my violin hating partner. It's made it so that I can return to the violin after an 18 year break without worrying about the noise effecting others.
Cons: Nothing so far.
Other: Deffinately recommended for people wanting to practise when others may be disturbed.

Ultra violin practice mute - light and lovely
Pros: Great mute. Light, and I can leave it on the violin when I put it in its case. It mutes the sound but doesn't distort it like other mutes. And at £2.95, there's absolutely nothing to complain about.
Cons: Nothing. I love this mute.

'Ultra' Violin Rubber Practice Mute
Pros: Made in the U.S.A, solid black rubber. This mute is perfect for reducing the volume when practicing without compromising the tonal qualities to an appreciable extent. If you have neighbours in close proximity then this item is a must have.
Cons: There was nothing I did not like about it.

Fallen out with your neighbours?
Pros: Light-weight, has contact with the entire width of the bridge and effectively damps the sound, allowing the string player to practise without annoying close neighbours.
Cons: Like all mutes, it does not give the same feedback to the player that an unmuted instrument gives.
Other: You might sell more if you made them in different colours.
