A great little device :)
Pros: This really helps when I'm at home and worrying about disturbing other people. It brings the volume right down to a level where i don't feel like I'm bothering anyone too much. It fits onto the bridge very snug and still lets my case close so i don't have to take it off every time. Very happy.
Cons: Nothing. It does the job perfectly.

Would Recommend.
Pros: I had previously used an electric (silent) violin for practice but I found it difficult to switch between violins. The practice mute is almost as quiet and allows me to use my acoustic violin in the evening.
Cons: None - have to ensure its positioned correctly as to not hit the G string but this is not really an issue as once its in the correct place it stays there.

excellent mute to keep neighbours happy
Pros: It really brings the sound down so the neighbours can't hear the loudness, possibly shrillness of the violin. It still gives perfect sound to be able to hear yourself fine. It also gives your violin a lower tone more like a viola.
Cons: all good things
Other: Itis big but that doesn't bother me. I am extremely satisfied and ordered a viola one and one for my daughter as well.

found the following review helpful
Pros: It's lightweight and won't damage the bridge because it is rubber, but because it is so "clumsy" it is very effective for allowing the player to practise in private.
Cons: Nothing.
Other: It's a practice mute - not an orchestral mute. An orchestral mute will not dampen the sound of your violin like a practice mute will.

Even the dog sleeps through my practice
Pros: After reading the other reviews for this mute it sounded exactly what I was looking for - and I was not disappointed! Even the dog sleeps through my practice now but I can still get a good range of dynamics!
Cons: Nothing to dislike

soft mute non damaging to bridge
Pros: Nice sounding mute of softice material. not damaging to bridge. Unlike metal clip on mute. Not as muted as lead wieghted mute but more muted than wood three prong mute
Cons: Only thing wrong is you have to fish it out of your pocket, like most mutes. But doesnt clatter when you drop it on the floor.
