Three of four strings good. One poor.

Pros: Three very good strings

Cons: Poor D string. Disappointing sound and deteriorated after two weeks of playing. I have had good Obligato D strings before.

Nice Mellow Strings

Pros: Great sounding strings - best strings for my fiddle that I’ve found. Not too pricey and they have a good shelf life as well.

Cons: Nothing really

Other: I’ve struggled to find strings that sit well on my fiddle as most sound very trebley as not very mellow - but these strings do and they pair very nicely with my fiddle which is otherwise difficult to pair strings with

Brilliant strings

Pros: Brilliant sound for my electric violin. I never tried the gold E string, but the steel one definitely doesn’t whistle and sounds plenty bright.

Cons: Nothing
