* All strings are ball end, unless otherwise specified.
A universal string of great quality suitable all types of instrument and player standard Obligato strings sound warm and full, yet have a brilliant, rich overtone spectrum and focused tone. Excellent playability and response throughout the entire dynamic range

Pros: I have recently started playing the violin again after a gap of many years. Pirastro strings are the same quality I remember them being.
Cons: n/a
Other: Excellent service. The strings arrived more quickly than expected

Pros: As stated elsewhere, these lower-tension and warmish strings seem good for my new, handmade Chinese violin, which the Evah Perazzis 'strangled' (being high-tension, with a 'rounded' sound, lacking warmth). The sound BOUNCES out of the d now - perhaps the best d string I've heard.
Cons: The overall sound, is a little squeaky, particularly the e, which is not as high quality as gold es.

Pros: These warm-sounding strings are fantastic and are well suited to my violin.
Cons: They are a little bit on the quiet side and quite expensive.
Other: Great strings at a fantastic price with speedy delivery!

Pros: These strings were purchased for my grandaughter who is 18 and hopes to go to music college. at the moment she plays in Angus Schools Senior Orchestra and Tayside Symphony Orchestra. She says they are amazing and have such a beautiful sound.

Pros: Good midddle level string. Well made, easily fitted and tone is quickly excellent with little playing in time.
Cons: Take a few days to stretch to working length, so require frequent retuning, but this is true of any new string I have bought before.
Other: Delivered quicky, and as ordered first time.
