designed for easy one-handed use. A dial at the bottom of the case allows the rosin to be turned, to avoid creating a groove, if desired. Light and Dark rosin options available.
Light rosin is generally used for violin and viola whereas the stickier dark rosin although used by all is the recommended option for cello
Kaplan Premium Rosin is formulated using the original Kaplan recipe, which produces less dust, helping to keep the instrument cleaner.

Pros: If Q from James Bong designed Rosin, this would be it! I love the flip-open case, snap-shut which you can use one-handed, and the ease with which it rotates in the case, so that you get even use. Whilst other violinists are struggling to open tins, or watching them roll away from them across the rehearsal hall, I'm rosined up, flipped shut and ready to go!
Cons: None!

Pros: Great design, a clever handle for spinning it round, it packs away no bother, does away with daft cloths . so cool... well impressed, it ticks all the boxes. and good quality rosin , not too dusty either
Cons: no prob - but the drummer thought it was a coke dispenser !
Other: Watch out.....all the fiddlers try to steal it at sessions

Pros: Compared with my previous Pirastro dark it makes much less dust. Excellent neat snap-open/close case, but I haven't tested it's strength by dropping it yet.
Cons: I don't see much point in the rotating wheel thing - you can just turn it round in your hand. There's likely to be more wastage with this design too.

Pros: Case keeps it from breaking if you drop it, and rotating mechanism means you can use all of it evenly. Is also small, so doesn't clog my case, and is nice rosin.
Cons: nothing

Pros: Provides good grip, and only needs using sparingly, so it is very economical. The integral case is neat and compact, so the resin stays intact in the instrument case, and can also safely be dropped into a bag or pocket.
Cons: None
Other: I wish I'd discovered this years ago!!

Pros: Very ease to use as only need one hand to open and close it. Minimal rosin dust, much better than my previous rosin. Good protection of rosin in plastic case. I think that the dial may prove to be useful too (so rosin wears evenly) although it's fairly easy to rotate the rosin in your hand, without using the dial.
Cons: no "cons" with this product, I have already recommended it to a friend.
