designed for easy one-handed use. A dial at the bottom of the case allows the rosin to be turned, to avoid creating a groove, if desired. Light and Dark rosin options available.
Light rosin is generally used for violin and viola whereas the stickier dark rosin although used by all is the recommended option for cello
Kaplan Premium Rosin is formulated using the original Kaplan recipe, which produces less dust, helping to keep the instrument cleaner.

Pros: It's a great rosin. Very little dust and not too much build up on the string. I love the one-handed box, which I thought was a gimmick at first but turns out to be a very clever design.
Cons: There's nothing I don't like about it. I'd recommend it.
Other: My order came within 24 hours. Very impressed indeed.

Pros: This is an excellent quality rosin. It coats the bow hairs well, but sheds very little dust. The plastic case makes its application clean and easy as well as providing the perfect storage. The rosin block can be rotated in the case from underneath for even wear.
Cons: Slightly more expensive - but worth every penny.

Pros: Very easy to whip out of the case and apply while holding cello and bow in other hand. Much better than fiddling with little boxes and risking dropping. Couldn't ask for a better sound, same quality as other Kaplan rosins. I don't have to worry ever about the rosin smashing in my case, even if I dropped the box it would probably be fine. Looks really elegant too.
Cons: Only possible negative is that the rosin is on the small side, so have to be careful that bow doesn't slip off. However the convenience of the case more than makes up for this.
