Professional
Long sustain and quite bright.
Pros: Bought these for use with a magnetic p-u on my EUB, as top winds are compatible for that, even though the cores are synthetic. Work very well in that context.
Cons: Good on the EUB, but seem a little too 'zingy' for me to want them on my acoustic. Also, different alloys (why?) on some of the strings, so the pole pieces on the magnetic p-up needed quite extreme adjustment in order to achieve a good balance across all four.
Other: D string was a dud, right out of the packet. Called D'Addario UK and they mailed a healthy replacement 24hrs later. Very impressive customer service. :-)
