Pros: Fully adjustable in every way!
Cons: Didn't work for me - personal preference - purely because of the shape - the secondo model worked better for my shoulder. I also found it a bit fussy in terms of fitting my particular viola - a bit too much adjusting for me.
Other: I recommend that you compare the primo and secondo shapes carefully to work out what might work best for you in terms of comfort and usability.

Pros: I bought this for my son on his teacher's recommendation, and it has been a wonderful purchase. He was playing flat most of the time, but now his intonation has improved immensely, mostly because his hand is now in the correct position. He also tells me it is very comfortable to use.
Cons: So far, there is nothing not to like.

Pros: For violist looking for a tall shoulder rest - this is one of the best around. Compact and easy to set up, it doesn't cause me any pain whilst playing nor does it slip or 'dig in' to the viola.
Cons: None

Pros: This is a straight forward, basic shuolder rest. There are no elastic bands required to keep it in place. So they can't break mid-performance. The height and width variablity of the rest is very good. There is over 2 inches (nearly 5 centimetres) variation on the height of the rest.
Cons: No obvious cons, but it isn;t absolutely clear which way round it should fit onto your instrument. I think this is a decision for the individual player.
