Pros: Good quality tailpiece - lightweight but sturdy with adjusters that turn easily.
Cons: Nothing to criticise really.
Other: My viola is exactly 15.5" and sits on the fence between the two sizes. I bought the smaller tailpeice but it was really very small and I had to return it in favour of the larger size. I assumed that too small would be better than too large, but in fact the larger size really wasn't huge. It is for violas from 15.5" to 16 1/3" according to the box it came in and this turned out to be the better size for me. It's 125mm long. Unfortunately I forgot to measure the little one before I sent it back.

Pros: I play a smaller viola and prefer it strung quite 'tightly' with metal core strings so fine tuners are essential. The Wittner is light,so the sound is not adversely affected, well made and the tuners are smooth and easy to adjust.
Cons: I find nothing nothing to dislike, just make sure you pick the size appropriate for your instrument and adjust the 'afterlength' proportionally.

Pros: Light, integrated tuners are nice
Cons: So far, nothing!
Other: I didn't fit this myself (had it put on as part of a service) so I can't comment on the ease of fitting it. Playing it I can't tell whether it has made a difference to the tone, but it is very nice to have integrated tuners (I use metal-core strings so they stretch all over the place just using pegs). The tailpiece looks good, with a nice smooth black texture that is not bright and shiny.

Light easy to fit product that improves the sound.
Pros: Lovely product - well made, light, easy to fit (nylon rope settles in a couple of days) and smooth fine tuners. It replaced a ca 40 year old metal tailpiece with a great improvement in sound. Modern composite beats metal alloy!.
Cons: Nothing
Other: Relatively inexpensive sound upgrade.

Neat and efficient
Pros: Easy to fit, looks neat and coordinates with my existing Wittner chinrest, I hope to stop scratching the instrument by accidentally dropping my old, independent metal finer tuners on the viola while re-fitting or putting on new strings etc.
Cons: The finish is obviously not as attractive as real ebony/rosewood etc. I am not sure there is as much adjustment as with an independent fine tuner.
