A practical solution to marginal tuning problems

Pros: While I understand why some people don't like integral- adjuster tailpieces, the practical value of instant tuning when playing overrules that, for me. It is just too easy for a string to lose pitch, even marginally, in a vigorous piece, and the only way you can deal with that is with integral adjusters (or, of course, independent adjusters on each string, but then you lose some string length, which affects sound). The Wittner tailpieces are well made, and this 'Rosewood' one looks nice and happens to suit an instrument I have. I'm very happy with it.

Pros: Excellent in appearance and practical terms. I know some people don't like integral tailpieces, but I don't know why. They are very useful for quick tuning in the course of a piece, say, in a performance, and other than that, to my eyes they look OK. This is a good product.

Pros: I like tidy appearance and light wieght. Have found when swapping with a wooden tailpiece that this gives better sound
Cons: Rosewood appearance fine from distance, a bit odd close up
