Prices are PER PEG unless description indicates a SET. These clever pegs enable easy and accurate tuning without the need for fine tuners on the tailpiece. Professional fitting strongly advised. Pegs sized by diameter of the shaft at the collar. See illustration. To allow for fitting, the peg side hole in the pegbox of the instrument should be a minimum of 1mm less than this diameter.

Pros: As a cellist who also has Multiple Sclerosis, I found using traditional pegs had become a challenge, as I no longer have the strength I used to. These pegs have helped no end. They make tuning a doddle. I know I can carry on playing for a long time to come now. The pegs had their first outing at the Royal Albert Hall last month in a performance for BBC One's The One Show!
Cons: None!
Other: Very quick delivery. Very impressed all round.

Pros: These pegs are truly amazing!..My hands are not strong and tuning normal pegs has been a nightmare, especially in the hot weather, as they slipped and often had to seek help to wind them back in. The Wittner pegs changed all that! They are truly amazing, as easy to turn as adjusters. This is because only the heads turn, not the shaft..I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone, but especially to those string players who for whatever reason have found tuning from the pegs problematic.
Cons: Cost and fitting is pricey, but worth every penny!

Pros: Makes tuning my cello a child's play! I am absolutely delighted, and only wished I'd known about these easy-tune pegs earlier, to save me so many miseries of a slipping - or snapping! A string..I highly recommend!
Cons: None
Other: This needs to be fitted professionally which increases the cost of the peg considerably, but worth every penny.
