Pros: The Viva la Musica Professional shoulder rest is the second shoulder rest I have used as a violinist, and I have no intention of swapping to another. The rubber feet hold my violin securely without being too tight, and the rest can be extended quite high if necessary (a necessity for someone like me with a long neck!). It is unobtrusive, finely crafted, comfortable, and a pleasure to use. As an added bonus, it comes replete with a lovely black silk cloth.
Cons: I do not have any cons regarding this shoulder rest.

Pros: This is an excellent shoulder rest, very comfortable and easy to adjust. It looks really beautiful too. It is a similar shape as the Kun shoulder rest but better because it grips the violin well and does not tend to fall of like the Kun.
Cons: The only downside is that it is a bit heavier than a "regular" shoulder rest (Kun, Wolf) probably because of the wooden part.

Pros: Having played classical violin for 22 years, and now switching to a ceilidh style since moving to Scotland, I can say that this is the best shoulder rest I have ever used. I grew up using the Kun, which are nice, but they wear down quickly. This rest is gentle on my violin, and very comfortable. No slipping!
Cons: None.
Other: It's a bit pricey, but should be the only shoulder rest you need.

Pros: Not cheap but worth the price for the excellent quality
Cons: none
Other: Some "adjustable" rests have such a small range of adjustment, they can still not be comfortable to use. This one genuinely has as much as it's possible to get, which makes it ideal for all players.

Great shoulder rest!.
Pros: Great looking and comfortable shoulder rest-a piece of art!. Beautifully made and feels very secure and nice on the shoulder. The packaging is amazing too. It was my present so I am over the moon!. When I tried to play the sound projection appeared much better and the sound was a lot clearer. I have even forgotten I had a shoulder rest on while playing! . Can't wait to use it in our orchestral rehearsals. Very pleased, to say the least!. And can't stop playing :)
