Does what it says....
Pros: It does what it says on the tin
Cons: There are no cons to date with the product itself
Other: I recently moved into an apartment therefore the reason for buying a practise mute. I personally don't like using the mute because it does what it is supposed to do and mutes the sound (no onset of a Wolf tone either). The product itself works but I just hate muffling such a wonderful instrument but I have to be mindful of my neighbours.

Top mute - does the trick
Pros: Great mute - does the trick and after a few days practice, your ear is really attuned to the sound and you notice a big difference with and without. Quiet when in another room with door shut
Cons: None
Other: I recommend - arrived next day. Thank you

Pros: Bought this for my cellist friend because I have one like it for my viola. We both live in terraced houses and are very pleased to be able to practise without worrying about disturbing others. Although the mute damps the sound right down, it's still possible to hear intonation. The cellist especially likes the sound of her muted pizzacato!
Cons: No problems.

Pros: the weight of the mute is light and if you drop it, it won't damage your cello. The sound is dramatically altered but this is an obvious change that would happen when muting the stings. The metal mutes are better at muting the sound but I have found this one to be perfect for my needs as I just needed the mute to make my cello quieter when practising late, not to totally deaden the sound.
Cons: Nothing bad discovered so far, also some people might prefer even more muting.

Pros: Mutes effectively but still allows cello to make enough sound to hear well when practising in a quiet environment. Won't damage the bridge or cello as moulded rubber construction.
Cons: It does the job well so there is nothing to dislike.
