A mixed bag: three great strings and one dud!
3 out of 4 found the following review helpful

Pros: The three lower strings are amazing: clear, rich, resonant, lively, responsive and expressive. They have a lovely lightness of touch which is hard to describe. Definitely the best strings I have come across (although I certainly haven't tried anything like all the myriad of strings now available!).

Cons: The A string was a huge disappointment. You really wouldn't think it came from the same stable as the rest of the set: dead and muted, particularly noticeable when bowing the open string or playing pizzicato. Maybe I had a dud string, or maybe it would have burst into life had I persevered with it for longer, but it showed no sign of improvement after a few days so I abandoned it in favour of my beloved Evah Pirazzi soloist, which sounds better than ever with the new lower strings to complement it.

Other: The C string in particular benefited from a few days playing in, but nothing excessive. It is hard to know how many stars to give the set; it seems unfair to award anything less than 5 for the good ones and any more than 1 for the A!
