Pros: I was really surprised when I tried the A on a really cheap oldish student violin and it really put extra life into the sound. I ordered a set and they make a great improvement. I had mid-priced strings before, I think the strings are worth more than the instrument ! Especially as I went for the platinum E. No more whistling than other strings which I only experienced on a different gold string. Someone told me not to waste money on good strings for a cheap violin, I think they were wrong as even my wife can here the difference from another room and also on loop recordings.
Cons: None

Pros: These strings produce a very focussed sound , a bell-like clarity and smoothe to adjust.
Cons: Nothing - just a little expensive but worth it.
Other: Was told about P I strings by a well-known professional soloist. Thesy have put new life into my violin and my playing, very responsive and beautiful tone. I have divorced all my previous - these are the only ones!

Pros: Superb strings. I have been using these for three or four years and have always been so impressed with these strings. I opt for the silver d and then I have to get a non-whistling e. They suit my violin perfectly, they settle quickly and unlike other synthetic core strings I've used, they last! I get at least 2 months out of these strings.
Cons: Sometimes the silver d starts to break at the bridge but other than that, no complaints whatsoever.
