Very nice wooden chinrest for the money.
4 out of 5 found the following review helpful

Pros: A good shape for securing the fiddle under the chin - hands free.

Cons: The cork was rather ungenerous. But I could easily fix that.

Other: Excellent value and service from StringZone.

Attractive and comfortable rest.
3 out of 4 found the following review helpful

Pros: Nice, smooth rest and fairly easy to attach, though I had to buy a key separately. (I could have used a paperclip). Looks very attractive on my fiddle and would look good on most instruments.

Cons: There are problems with the exact fit on my particular instrument but there is no advice at all in the package. Some advice on fitting might help, though information is available online so it isn't essential.

Comfy!!
3 out of 4 found the following review helpful

Pros: I'm making steady progress in adapting the fiddle to fit me - rather than the other way round - and the Teka is another step in the right direction. Getting there, getting there ....!

Cons: Nothing

Good secure chinrest

Pros: Allows a secure grip of violin.

Cons: Marginally too high for me, I’ll adapt it. When new dye came off onto my skin, stopped after a while.

Comfortable chinrest with good build quality

Pros: Very comfortable shape for me. The wood is smooth and the construction seems very good. I have a plastic Teka chinrest on another violin, but I much prefer the feeling on this wood version.

Cons: None

Lovely chin rest

Pros: This is a lovely wooden chin rest that fits beautifully alongside the Wolf Forte Secondo shoulder rest. I had the plastic version previously and this wooden one provides a much better feel.

Cons: None
