Pros: Guiseppe Zulberti of Monza fitted Prim Medium Tone violin strings on the instrument he made for me in 1978. Since then I have always enjoyed the clarity and power of these strings, they respond well .... ideal for celtic music.
Cons: I haven't found any problems with these strings so far.

Good value but not for everyone

Pros: Bright, good intonation, easy to play, clear tone, good value
Cons: a bit lightweight at the bottom, particularly the G string, might not suit some styles/instruments - even perhaps a bit thin sounding

Bright but not at all shrill. Good strings.

Pros: Pure clear sound, not to firm to touch so you can dig in. Stays in tune.
Cons: Can be loud- good for an instrument which has some resonance to it so as to help accommodate the sound that these strings produce.

Good for Old Time Fiddle but super loud and bright

Pros: They're really loud and bright. The most popular choice for players of old time fiddle music.
Cons: Though I think they're a good set of string and are the defacto choice for Americans who play Old Time fiddle, I found them so bright and loud and harsh they were too much for me so I've opted for Jagers instead. They also feel quite rough.
Other: Get them if you're really confident and want loud bright strings that jump out of the fiddle and (apparently) last ages and ages

Pros: So far, so good.
Cons: None
Other: Popular strings amongst Old-Time fiddle players....you could survey members of The Friends of American Old-Time Music and Dance society FOAOTMAD to see which strings the fiddler prefer.....

A highly recommended product.
Pros: A good working string if you like “metals”. A bright clear sound that suits this particular instrument which I keep for lending to good pupils around Grade 4-7 levels. Also they are long lasting and therefore excellent value for money.
Cons: None
Other: First class service from Stringzone...as usual!
