bright fiddle tone, quality/feel is a bit meh!
Pros: Bright responsive fiddle tones. There are things I like about the sound and speed of the Prim tone and get what fiddlers like about them but...
Cons: Really don't like the Prim D string at all. the biggest let down of the this set of strings which I bought individually as I use a golden spiral Kaplan E
Other: The D is frankly scratchy and awful would never buy this string again,

Clear, bright, loud. Great for fiddles.
Pros: Good crisp and loud sound from Prim strings. Not quite as rich as Dominants, but the brighter tone and louder volume make my stentor student II fiddle better heard in a large folk band. Very responsive too.
Cons: E string sounds a bit thin and tinny on my fiddle. But these strings have worked well with a Helicore E and a Pro Arte E so far. Am trying a Wondertone next.
