The D'Addario Microfiber Polishing Cloth is a long-lasting cleaning cloth for all instruments that can be used with or without polishes. The Micro-fiber Cloth traps particles deep inside its fibers which are 2000 times finer than a human hair. This eliminates the need for harsh cleansers. Pros: This is incredibly effective; none of my stringed instruments have every looked so shiny!
Cons: None that I can think of
Other: I have not tried to wash it yet so I have not tested the claim that it washes easily and is reusable many times.

Perfect size and function
Pros: I really like the size - perfect for the violin. It is surprisingly capable of cleaning of dust, rosin and stuck on stuff without resorting to actual cleaners, which most of us non-luthiers should avoid. A bit of moisture (condensation from your breath!) works wonders!
Cons: The edges do very occasionally catch on bits of the violin e.g. bridge so just be careful around those areas.

Pros: -does what it says on the tin. Really is like a magnet for rosin and dirt on your string instrument. -cleans instrument easily and very quickly. -no squeaks when cleaning. -mainly purchased this cloth because I was getting fed up of using the cheap yellow duster cloths which I usually got from the supermarket (normally at 3 for £1). Yes they were a great price but unfortunately they always left little yellow particles of the cloth on my instrument and my instruments case. Therefore, I decided to invest in this micro fibre cleaning cloth and I am so happy I did! It leaves no particles. -nice grey colour. -soft to touch.
Cons: -cloth is a little bit on the small size. -a bit pricey but well worth it!
Other: -not sure if I would use this cloth with any instrument polish or cleaner.
