Pros: Very responsive strings, a lovely warm, refined tone straight away(very little metallic edge)which developes in richness; bright in the upper strings, but not overly so, and richly dark in the lower strings. I especially love the dark g string and the warm colourful advanced e ,which I prefer to the silvery steel e. Beautiful clarity of sound in higher registers even on the G string. Great dynamic range capable of very powerful or soft sound . Overall a fairly dark string set with brightness and clarity that adds depth to the violin.
Cons: none.

Pros: I have used the gut Eudoxa for a while now and was seeking something that could keep the Pirastro sound but get me away from the constant tuning. Once played in these strings work very well with lots of tone and woody effect. The E is a little thin. All in all very pleased but I may return to Gut for the harmonic overtones that a Gut string gives.
Cons: E String a little tonally thin.

Pros: Excellent tone and almost instantly stay in tune.
Cons: Nothing
Other: Too tip! Use the ball end version even if you have a loop adjuster. It fits onto the adjuster perfectly and never breaks at the loop end.

Pros: Nice mellow tone, never tried these strings before, my son likes them.
Cons: As most strings, it takes a bit of tuning at the beginning, nothing to dislike so far.
Other: Fast delivery

Pros: I'd been using a rather brighter all metal string set and I'm enjoying a smoother, rounder sound now.
Cons: They stretch rather more than the metal ones when first put on, but, hey, that is a property of synthetic cores. They settled nicely so all is good.
