Beginner
High Tension when Tuned made String Very Hard

Pros: Reasonably priced.
Cons: String was bought for my daughter (Grade 4),fitted and tuned by her instrument teacher. Both of them commented that when correctly tuned the tension was very high making it difficult and uncomfortable for her to press down on it while playing. Teacher wondered whether it was more suited for a 1/2 cello only?
Other: Based on this experience will probably buy a full size string in future.

Good sound and value for money
Pros: Bought for my daughters instrument. Tuned easily and held their tuning well when first put on. Smooth, mellow sound.
Cons: Limited number of fractional sized strings available, these are not the cheapest brand (which we had bought as an emergency set but sounded awful) but I think these represent good value for money.
