Description

Pirastro Perpetual provides the largest sound volume and carrying power combined with a precisely focused sound projection. The clarity of its sound, however, does not diminish the abundance of colours Perpetual offers. Its vibrant tone attack and optimal string response seamlessly complement Perpetual's sound qualities from extreme fortissimo to the most sensitive whisper.

If you'd like a high tension 'E' string (0.267mm), please add each string to your basket individually.

Perpetuals - nice, but not brilliant.
3 out of 3 found the following review helpful

Pros: I like the Perpetuals - but not as much as the Peter Infelds with platinum E and silver D. I have just ordered another set of the Infelds.

Cons: No complaints. I think the Peter Infelds probably suit my fiddle better, or at least I think they do.

New strings with an Achilles heel
3 out of 3 found the following review helpful

Pros: Strings settled in quickly and are powerful & responsive

Cons: E has a sweet tone but, on my violin, whistles and had to be replaced by a Kaplan

Professional

Best strings I've tried
3 out of 4 found the following review helpful

Pros: Perpetual Cadenza are by far the best string I've tried in my career so far. They are brilliantly varied, with a characterful, deep and mellow sound, no harsh edge, brilliant balance and excellent range of colours whether in an orchestral or more soloistic setting. The dynamic range is fantastic - incredibly quiet playing is easy and loud projection is effortless too. The sound is beautifully rounded from the first touch of the string. I can't see myself changing from these strings, very happy I tried them.

Cons: I genuinely don't have any negatives towards these strings.....
