Gold, previously known as Gold Label is entry level gut core string by Pirastro. For those who prefer a simple, gut cored string at an affordable price these strings are the answer. They have a bright sound combined with easy playability under the fingers. Available in full size, medium tension only with a ball or loop end option for the plain steel E string.
Excellent quality and value for players who like the old gut sound. Please note these strings are not recommended for use with fine tuners (E excepted).
Please note. These strings do NOT have ball ends and are not designed for use with fine tuners on the tailpiece. These can damage the knot of the string and lead to breaking. Tuning should be confined to the pegs only. Please ensure this product meets your requirements prior to purchase.

Pros: Nice strings, warm and creamy sound!
Cons: They take a while to tune in and hold their pitch. Also, they don't last as long as other labels, which makes them relatively more expensive.

Pros: What does anyone need to be told about these strings? Reliable, a good strong sound, very comfortable to play. When I played more than I do now, I used Olive label strings, but these would now be an unjustifiable expense. Gold is the way forward (holds its value better than olives!)
Cons: Nothing to dislike - when all's said and done, there's not much mystery about a set of violin strings.

Pros: Professional level strings, quite good and nice sound; if your instrument is well balanced they can bring a very good tone and enough volume.
Cons: Sol and Re strings are not as deep and masculine as other strings, also the Mi is lacks some elegance.

Pros: They have a nice sound to them and they do work on fine tuners if you set them up right. They are over all realy good and are the best strings i have bought
Cons: They take a while to settle in because they keep slipping on the pegs at the beginning. This be because they are new and have not been stretched but it may also be my violin because it is very old and needs restoring.
Other: They are great and rather cheap for the quality

Pros: Our son is very pleased with his strings, he always buy good quality strings for his violin. There's no point buying lesser quality strings, a string instrument is only as good as the strings and bow.
Cons: Nothing, they are among the best strings on the market.

Pros: They arrived promptly and were all in excellent condition, despite being wound up. Good quality all-purpose strings with a mellow tone. They will improve an indifferent instrument and make the most of a mediocre technique.
Cons: There's nothing I don't like about them.
