The market leader in professional grade orchestral strings. Set of 4 in medium tension. Choice of steel or gold plated E. Intense and brilliant sound with the widest possible dynamic range. These strings are best suited to advanced student and professional players and work best on high quality instruments.
Available in three tensions, Evah Pirazzi strings have a core made from a modern synthetic multifilament fibre which contributes to a very intensive and powerful sound. Ideally suited to orchestral and solo playing.
The strings have outstanding playability and exceptional response at any of the dynamic levels, a complex sound, rich with overtones based on a brilliant core sound and enormous projection.
Expressive, with great nuances and enormous dynamic range combined with outstanding tuning stability. These strings are absolutely insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity and are also suitable for electric violins or violins equipped with piezo-pickups
E-Goldsteel option: This string is more brilliant and powerful sound than the Silvery Steel E-string. This string has a different sound profile from Oliv and Obligato Goldsteel E-strings.

Pros: Overall good strings for the price. Coming from Pirastro Oliv it is definately easier to profuse a loud sound though not as warm and nice as the Oliv ofcourse. I think this set of strings is great price/quality/longlivety. Great strings for orchestral playing but not for solo/chamber music performing.
Cons: The quality and the warmth of the sound is not as goog as guy strings on my violin. French 1928.
Other: The strings are great. I have not had any trouble with the quality of the product. Delivery was very quick 3 working days for me.

Pros: G and D string sounds were more sonorious.
Cons: The E string is not as good as the Dominant E string previously used - it is as if I was using an unrosined bow. G, D, and A strings are fine but constantly require re-tuning.
Other: Is there a particular Rosin best suited for Pirazzi Violin Strings SET?

Pros: strong and loud strings - beautiful tone and plenty of 'ringing' on the G and D.
Cons: The A was weaker than the other strings and had a slightly different sound. It doesn't ring nearly as nicely. I also found that they took a while to play in and they can be hard work to play.
Other: There is high tension on the violin with these strings; this makes a nice loud sound, but the bridge bends more quickly.

Pros: I used to use Eudoxa for the tone quality, but found in terms of practicality that they took too long to play in and didn't last. Thus I swapped and have been using Evah Pirazzis for a few years now. I find them responsive, subtle and reliable over a decent period, and therefore worth spending the money on.
Cons: They don't tend to wear out as such, so change them when your tone production seems blanker - they need to be put to rest at that point. I've continued using them for weeks thinking my playing's gone down the pan before realising it's the strings, not me.

Pros: Bright and loud strings with a lovely sound.
Cons: Have taken a long time to settle down and are more likely to be easily out of tune, particularly the D string.
Other: I waited for a few months [8] before review to allow the strings to play in. I love their bright sound. I play for myself, maybe an hour at a time, not in public, and not every day, but they do make the violin sound lovely. Worth the cost.
