The market leader in professional grade orchestral strings. Set of 4 in medium tension. Choice of steel or gold plated E. Intense and brilliant sound with the widest possible dynamic range. These strings are best suited to advanced student and professional players and work best on high quality instruments.
Available in three tensions, Evah Pirazzi strings have a core made from a modern synthetic multifilament fibre which contributes to a very intensive and powerful sound. Ideally suited to orchestral and solo playing.
The strings have outstanding playability and exceptional response at any of the dynamic levels, a complex sound, rich with overtones based on a brilliant core sound and enormous projection.
Expressive, with great nuances and enormous dynamic range combined with outstanding tuning stability. These strings are absolutely insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity and are also suitable for electric violins or violins equipped with piezo-pickups
E-Goldsteel option: This string is more brilliant and powerful sound than the Silvery Steel E-string. This string has a different sound profile from Oliv and Obligato Goldsteel E-strings.

Good quality strings but not right for my violin
Pros: Really like the tone of G, D and A once settled. Mellower than the strings I'm used to playing on. Very prompt delivery.
Cons: Really don't like the silver E, doesn't react well on my violin when I try to sink in. Often chokes and has a weak sound in higher registers. Haven't tried gold yet. Strings take a good 8-10hrs of playing to settle. I might try another combination.

Excellent strings. Give them a try.
Pros: Having experimented with many different types of strings from different manufacturers I find that the Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin Strings are the most suitable for my violin. Once played in they offer a rich tone quality and are much more stable than other brands especially the A string which is usually the most susceptible to ‘drift’. They last longer too.
Cons: These strings are not cheap but the old saying 'you get what you pay for' certainly applies in this case.

Good strings from a reliable source.
Pros: I got these for my daughter who is grade eight standard and needed some good strings for playing in a competition. She is really happy with them. Good prompt service and they came well packaged.
Cons: If they are not what you want you do have to pay to return them - there seems to be no return and exchange option. I had a moment where I thought I had ordered the wrong type of string end for the E, and would not have been able to do a simple exchange with a ball end for a loop end. I would have to have paid to return one string and then paid to order the replacement.

Very pleased with these strings
Pros: Have been using Evah Pirazzi for about two years now and have been very pleased with them, good strong sound and they keep their tuning very well compared with Pirastro Olive for example although they are not as warm as the Olive.
Cons: No problems to date.
