The market leader in professional grade orchestral strings. Intense and brilliant sound with the widest possible dynamic range. These strings are best suited to advanced student and professional players and work best on high quality instruments.
Available in three tensions, Evah Pirazzi strings have a core made from a modern synthetic multifilament fibre which contributes to a very intensive and powerful sound. Ideally suited to orchestral and solo playing.
The strings have outstanding playability and exceptional response at any of the dynamic levels, a complex sound, rich with overtones based on a brilliant core sound and enormous projection.
Expressive, with great nuances and enormous dynamic range combined with outstanding tuning stability. These strings are absolutely insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity and are also suitable for electric violins or violins equipped with piezo-pickups

Pros: Strong, very powerful sound. Responds well to the bow and is excellent all round.
Cons: Bit pricey.
Other: This string suits my quality modern Italien violin wonderfully.Especially good for solo work - great projection and sound quality.

Pros: They ring a little when they're fresh and hit the "e" perfectly when double stopping.
Cons: They snap, but I go through lots of e strings. This may be because I slide up the the f a lot, or it may be because I'm a rough player. I also play the guitar and snap loads of strings on that too.
Other: I've gob through four of these strings in the last month. They're cheap enough not to worry about it and sound as good as the pricey e's that came with my set that snapped just as quickly. Near the end of their life they start to sound a bit tinny.

Pros: Will create a nice mellow tone for folk fiddle, or something a little brighter for classical violin-playing.
Cons: Will disintegrate over time! Not the most long-lasting string available.
Other: Have been using these strings for a while now; not the first time I have bought them. Originally had Pirazzi Strings fitted by a violin-maker as part of my instrument's service and have never looked back. Simply fantastic strings, wouldn't go any other way/recommend anything else.

Other: StringZone delivered this super prompt. My previous string broke 7 days before a concert, and the replacement arrived with 5 days to spare, giving me plenty of time to practise.
