* All strings are ball end, unless otherwise specified.
The market leader in professional grade orchestral strings. Intense and brilliant sound with the widest possible dynamic range. These strings are best suited to advanced student and professional players and work best on high quality instruments.
Available in three tensions, Evah Pirazzi strings have a core made from a modern synthetic multifilament fibre which contributes to a very intensive and powerful sound. Ideally suited to orchestral and solo playing.
The strings have outstanding playability and exceptional response at any of the dynamic levels, a complex sound, rich with overtones based on a brilliant core sound and enormous projection.
Expressive, with great nuances and enormous dynamic range combined with outstanding tuning stability. These strings are absolutely insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity and are also suitable for electric violins or violins equipped with piezo-pickups

Pros: I thought a "high tension" string might provide a better balance on my instrument, so I ordered one of each ('stark' as well as my usual 'mittel') and fitted the 'stark'. I was right to do so.
Cons: Nothing, except that, like all Evah Pirazzi A's, it takes at least a week to stabilize the tuning.
Other: Corelli Alliance are better for coming to stable tuning quickly but they don't suit this violin so well.

Pros: Lovely tone, mellow but carries well. I recently replaced all my strings with Evah Pirazzi medium tension on the morning of a performance and they held their intonation very well, settling down within an hour - a high risk strategy not normally to be recommended.
Cons: no cons

Pros: I just received the strings today. I appreciate those strings which are the only one my violin tolerate, they give him an ample and pleasant sound. I'll settle them later. Kind regards, Claude FRESSE
Cons: Maybe do they retain a too much rosin...
