Great string.

Pros: One of the nicest gut A strings I've used! Clear tone with just enough gut presence, and not shrill.

Cons: Would have liked a loop on the tailpiece end.

Other: I'm assuming my 5* rating is at the top of the scale - excellent.

Pros: Made for baroque instruments.

Cons: No comment at the moment.

Other: Trying these on my wife's new baroque cello. I tend to use Dlugolecki on my violin and viola.
