Professional
Genuine improvement on the standard Larsen
Pros: Bought this having tried and loved the C. Having tried the G, I went ahead and got the A & D. Absolutely delighted with the strings, a genuine improvement on the standard Larsen, which I didn't think was possible.
Cons: I hesitated at the price, which is why I started with only the C, but it really was worth the extra cost in the end.
Other: My modern cello is really singing in all its registers for the first time ever.

Replaced C and G
Pros: Immediate difference to the sound quality in the lower registers, and has really enhanced the cello.
Cons: None
Other: I took a risk with a fairly new string to the market - it will be many years before I change again, but I would recommend these strings to others (bought a C and G). Fitted to a 19th century French cello.
