Pros: This is an excellent shoulder rest. Good quality construction and comfortable to use. The shape worked so much better for me than the Wolf models. I have small shoulders for a man and this design keeps the Viola so much more stable and secure. Fully adjustable and EASY to adjust (no screwdriver required like some other models). Also has a generous contoured surface area of rest unlike some other designs.
Cons: Perhaps a tad pricey but by far the best design I've tried!
Other: I recommend that you compare shapes and designs of shoulder rests very carefully before purchasing so you can determine what might work best for your physiology!

Pros: It spans the whole width of the viola and is appropriately shaped to fit shoulder down on to chest, giving far more support than my previous rest. It is good to be able to concentrate on playing the music rather than having to keep ensuring the viola's not slipping. Being collapsible it's also very easily stored in the case.
Cons: So far no negatives. Just wish I'd bought one earlier.

Pros: Bought for my grown up daughter who is grade 5 violin but now plays folk and church music on viola and she is very pleased with the way it folds up and fits in her case and fits her large full size viola. No issues, well made and a fair price. It is far better than her previous rest which kept coming off.

Pros: Very lightweight and comfortable. Fits easily to viola and lots of options to adjust to size. No neck or shoulder discomfort as yet. Packs away well in instrument case as collapsible.
Cons: Can move while in use, but not as much as other rests I've used. Perhaps further adjustments are needed to set up.

Pros: Fits in the storage compartment inside 17" viola case, thus no risk to instrument in transit. Fits very wide lower bout 26.6cm perfectly. Very comfortable and good shape on body, but thats a personal thing.

Pros: It fits easily in the case. It gives great support and follows the shoulder contours unlike my last one that was just straight (but also 30 years old!).

Pros: It feels very secure and is a lot more comfortable than I expected. It also fits neatly inside the viola case, making it much harder to lose or forget.
Cons: No cons experienced yet.
