To be tied to required length by a knot. Check diameter for fit. Tailpiece not included.

Expensive but it won't break

Pros: thin and strong which i needed for my application.
Cons: very expensive. Knots are hard to tie - would be a whole lot easier if it was an inch longer, surely this wouldn't be impossible for the money....
Other: bought this to replace a broken tail loop on a wiplstix fiddle - did the job fine. There's a lot said about the effect of tail loops, varnish, after-length etc on fiddles which reminds me somewhat of the nonsense about oxygen free cables and spikes in hi-fi mags. But it works fine and it won't break.
