Popular shoulder pad kit consisting of foam blocks which can be adjusted to individual preference. Specifically designed for children, the Huber Pad offers a simple support in the early period before a full shoulder rest is required.

Can't recommend due to its slippery nature.
Pros: Used an older one before, the shape is good.
Cons: It is now made of a new, more slippery material which clothes dp not grip on to. It also slips on the varnish of the violin so not really of use.
Other: Shame that a product has changed for the worse. Did the old material become banned from use?

Pros: The Huber pad is small enough to easily fit inside the violin case, and easy enough for my six year old daughter to fit her self. We tried many other rests that were too high to be comfortable, and the price is very low in comparison.
Cons: I expect that at some stage, we will need to progress at some stage to a more advanced model.
Other: String Zone has supported very well with excellent service whilst we try various models.

Pros: An upgrade from the sponge supplied with the school instrument! Very cheap.
Cons: Didn't really cut the mustard so rewarded son with a Kun Shoulder Rest after a little bit more practice! Never looked back since..... Would suggest you go straight to the Kun.

Pros: Its cheap.
Cons: I couldn't get on with this at all. Can't work out how you can fix it securely or how you make the wedges fit together. It doesn't seem to give any "lift" at all really - easier to just screw up a duster and put it on your shoulder. Oh well, each to their own.
