Give it a try.

Pros: Just does what it says - my pegs are very stable with a coat of this on them.

Cons: Not everyone is a fan - but you’ve got to give it a go. It is a bit pricey but does last a very long time.

Hill's Paste keeps the pegs turning!

Pros: Conveniet to use and easy to keep neat and tidy in a case. Works extremely well on the pegs of my theorbo.

Cons: I think it is quite expensive and the quantity is relatively small. There are alternatives which offer far more paste for half the price in a tin. You are really paying for the convenience of having it in stick-form. At least there's a choice.

Useful - when you know how to apply it.

Pros: The lip-stick type dispenser is a good idea. The paste does seem to work; it freed my sticking pegs quite a lot. However...

Cons: The instructions: 'To be used sparingly' leave a little to be desired. I used it sparingly but, although the pegs are easier to turn, I certainly need to do it all again. Obviously, I used it too sparingly. Better instructions would be useful on the SZ website.
