A good middle ground for solo and orchestra
Pros: Overall very good and a great price for what you get. Very responsive under the bow. Clear tone so would make a great string if you are going between solo stuff in orchestral tuning and orchestra stuff on the same bass (students), although some may find it quite bright for orchestra. Pizz sound was also surprisingly decent.
Cons: On powerful, mid-range heavy basses this might be more than you need. On my bass it was a little honky for orchestra stuff.
