Worth a try if you're allergic to standard rosins
3 out of 3 found the following review helpful

Pros: It has greatly reduced my allergic reaction to rosin dust

Cons: I've only just started to use the rosin, and so far it appears to need more rosin to give the bow a good grip on the strings. However, after cleaning the bow hairs I'm still getting it well covered again, so may be able to give a better verdict in a week or two

Well worth trying

Pros: Whenever I played my violin my eyes would start watering and nose started running so apart from making me stop for tissues every few minutes, wasn't a very pleasant sight. But since I started using the new rosin it has stopped completely. Maybe it was luck that I found the right one straight away but it is well worth trying if you have the same problem.

Best rosin for me.
2 out of 2 found the following review helpful

Pros: It gives my violins a nice tone and also stops me sneezing.. Not as powerful perhaps as some other rosins, I prefer tone to power any day.The only rosin I use now after playing for more than 50 years, good price too.

Cons: No cons, though may need a few more applications ?

The title "hypoallergenic appears to be justified
1 out of 2 found the following review helpful

Pros: In recent years I have suffered from a "runny nose" whilst playing the violin and using ordinary resin. This has abated considerably since I have been using the Geipel hypoallergenic resin.

Cons: This product does not have quite the grip of ordinary resins but this is of little consequence.
