* All strings are ball end, unless otherwise specified.
Professional level strings of great depth and quality. Evah Pirazzi Gold series have a similar construction to the original Evah Pirazzi. These strings are designed to produce the ultimate performance especially when combined with the finest instruments. Metal cored with flat chromesteel wound A & D strings. Tungsten G & C windings. These are very stable strings with a short play-in time. Medium tension only.

Pros: The strings arrived prompltly with no problems. After fitting them to my cello they settled very quickly, and after about 1 month they stayed solidly in tune. I am delighted by their tone. I have rarely had a full set of the same type but in this case it is absolutely justified. The tone is positive and consistent across all registers. All the high harmonics sound easily. Open strings sound good. I am very confident with these strings and would definitely buy them again.
Cons: Nothing to add here.

Fantastic, rich and resonant sound.
Pros: These strings are everything I had hoped they would be. Fantastic, rich and resonant sound. I no longer have to work the strings in order to produce a nice tone, freeing me up to work on technique - I’m very happy across all four strings.
Cons: None

Pros: These strings are so reliable, consistent and even across the full range of the cello - they are flexible and yet powerful and they suit my instrument. I recently had the opportunity to try the new Perpetual strings but for my instrument, the Piazza Gold are superior.
Cons: They are still quite pricey which means I have to take them to the bitter end before investing again - if they were more reasonable I know I would be inclined the replace them more frequently as there is nothing as pleasurable as a fresh set of these strings

Pros: A revelation that has completely brought my cello to life. The difference is unbelievable and noticed by everyone, I cannot put it down. Speaks so clearly and technique is effortless.
Cons: the string wraps on end of string are quite long, it took some adjusting to avoid them slipping.
