Tungsten wound on rope steel core. Similar to Spirocore Tungsten
We recommend using small strings only on the larger of the two sizes shown to avoid winding the playing surface onto the tuning peg.

Good string, but too expensive to experiment with.
Pros: 1) After settling in (see below) this string gives a clear and centred tone with huge power output. My cello naturally has a large and rounded sound, and this string gives it great focus on the lower string (esp as I dislike woolly sounding C's) 2) Playability seems good. The string is not reluctant under the bow, which I have found can be the case with Spirocores.
Cons: 1) Price. Cello strings are a rip off for what they are and this brand is no exception (but Pirazzis are good!). 2) At first, this string was horrendously coarse and buzzy, but after about a week, it settled down and has steadily improved. Give it time!
Other: I would give it 5* if it wasn't for the price.

Pros: Fits 3/4 size cello beautifully. The string makes the most wonderful sound deep, full, mellow. You can feel and hear the quality of this string.
Cons: Nothing not to like. A bit pricey but worth every penny.
