Warmer sound than Chromcor A-string. Ideal for players who like the old 'Russian' sound. Extra clarity whilst complimenting gut cored D and G. Very hard wearing.

Pros: This string suited my violin very well and complemented the Eudoxa G, D and E nicely. Because it's so thin (almost as thin as the E string) and fairly low tension it feels very smooth and comfortable under the fingers. Shifts are effortless and sound is blended. Dynamic and colour possibilities are excellent for a steel string.
Cons: Initially the sound was a little brash but this subsided after a couple of days of playing.
