Not useful for a double-bass?

Pros: Very low price

Cons: Didn't seem to be able to unwind a double-bass string any more easily or quickly than the bass's own machine heads. It may be possible I was employing it incorrectly, since there were no accompanying instructions, although I couldn't see how it could be used in any other way.
