All ball end options for this string come with a pre-installed ball end.
To check your instrument size measure the length of the back (LOB) excluding the 'button' which is the thumb shaped extension at the top where the neck is anchored. Old instruments can vary, if more than 1/2" over choose the next size up.

Pros: Good strong tone, not as heavy-duty as maybe a Hill or a Wondertone, though stronger than a Chromcor or an Oliv.
Cons: no drawbacks
Other: I often hear negative feedback about the Dominant E, but I use it alot.

Pros: Dominant strings are reliable choice for a string musician. They provide a good quality of sound on both fine and and not so advanced crafted instruments. They last long, not last but least, they keep a good price in the market.
