Dominant Cello String, D

Pros: A very good substitute for a far more expensive gut core string. The string responds well to the bow and was settled in within a day or so.

Cons: These are not the cheapest strings and a complete set would represent a considerable investment for many people

Other: Dominant strings have been around for a long time now. I use them for both my 'cello and my violin and have no plans to change brand in the forseeable future.

Pros: Excellent service, very quick delivery.

Cons: No issues.

Pros: Nice sound - *never* goes out of tune! These strings just suit my cello.

Cons: If there were any significant ones I'd choose a different brand!
