The NS Micro Violin Tuner features an easy-to-read, multi-colour display in an attractive compact design.
A non-marring, lever-lock clamp holds the tuner securely to the instrument while allowing easy application and removal.
The precision violin tuner is not only perfect for tuning, the unique mounting system and fast pitch response allow it to be used as an effective practice tool for referencing and improving intonation while playing.
Please note this is a new model which DOES NOT feature a metronome as shown in the product video.

Violin tuner
Pros: Easy to use, doesn’t damage violin since it have rubber clips that are safety clipped on violin, I can use it while I am playing to see am I hitting right tone or not. Absolutely perfect and I would highly recommend to everyone.
Cons: So far nothing

Useful if you cannot hear when you play off.
Pros: It is unobtrusive and very useful for helping build 'muscle memory' for finger position and 'getting' correct intonation on the strings.
Cons: It turns itself off every 10 minutes and it isn't fast enough to register note changes when playing a tune.
Other: Highly recommended if you find it difficult to hear when you're playing flat or sharp.

Ingenious and very helpful
Pros: This is an excellent, user-friendly little piece of kit. It sits neatly on the violin on the bass side of the neck in clear view as you play. Tuning is very easy as you can see the display as you manipulate the pegs or fine tuners. It is extremely accurate. It also acts as a useful guide for tuning in play when practising, so that any marginal unconscious slide into sharpness or flatness can be noticed and corrected. There is also a metronome function (a blinking dot) which I don't use, but it could be helpful. I notice that one reviewer points out that the tuner may not fit on to some, or even many, violas - I think that's probably right. It doesn't fit on to my (16 and a half inch, mind) instrument. But for use with the violin, I like it very much.
Cons: Nothing
