Corelli Crystal Violin String, A

Pros: Quick to play in and reliable. Warm and well balanced. Stay true longer than some other strings. Good value. Recommended

Cons: None

Pros: Not strictly a beginner as returning to playing after a few years away from it. not able to comment - vide infra.

Cons: broke within less than 10hrs playing time--while I was playing very simple slow scales.

Other: dull thud sound--> string went slack. On examination the ball was still in it's correct position, the wire was still round the ball but now visible , but the junction between the playing surface of the string and the thread round the base of the sting had moved up beyond the bridge- the centre of the black thread now resting on the bridge.

Pros: Good quality, last for a long time; good value for money.

Cons: Nothing.

Other: String zone provide a very good service.
