Pros: lovel tone, made my viola sounds completely different, my C is now much more resonant and clean, i also like the pink binding!
Cons: took a while to tighten to tune?
Other: quick and easy service and excellent price

Pros: Although I have since moved on to other strings I always used Corelli Crystal when I was a student. I found the Crystals to have a good tone, and they stayed in tune for me quite well too. Not the loudest or most projecting strings but they have a lovely 'sweet' sound and respond very quickly to fingers and bow. Very easy to play on! Ideal for younger players and students, I found.
Cons: Managed to break one when fitting it once - apparently that's quite rare...! Also the Crystals aren't the loudest string. Otherwise fine, it's down to personal preference.

Pros: Great strings for our Grade 4+ daughter. We first bought these strings a year or two ago - they give a really good viola tone on her instrument - perfect fit for a full size violin which we have re-strung. Making a good sound encourages her to practice! This set is for spare - the strings have lasted well.
Cons: Nothing really. A bit pricier than the most basic strings, but worth it for the tone quality.
