Very good buy for my level of playing and my needs

Pros: Nice and light with a very good audio capacity much easier to use than my previous bow and get a better quality of tone from my instrument though I'm still only settling in to it therefore I hope that this will get even better. A joy to practise with.

Cons: Haven't come across a thing yet and hope never to!

Other: Well worth what I paid for it. A friend bought a much more expensive bow and found that there was little difference between them, she was impressed too.

Nice bow - comfortable and easy to use
3 out of 6 found the following review helpful

Pros: This bow is a massive improvement over the one provided with my "Alfred Stingl by Hofner" student violin outfit. It feels steady and comfortable to use, is well-balanced, and has a nice weight to it. Just switching to it has made practice more enjoyable, and playing fast, rhythmic folk pieces is substantially easier than before.

Cons: Nothing I can think about!

Other: Amazing service from thestringzone.co.uk - ordered at 2pm on Monday, and arrived by 8:30 am on Tuesday. Delivered by Royal Mail, which is great, because if I hadn't been there to collect it, then it would have been delivered to my local post-office, which is only 500 metres away. Much better than some dodgy courier company.

Lovely bow and wonderfully fast delivery
1 out of 3 found the following review helpful

Pros: I went for this bow based on the reviews. I live remotely and don't drive. All my other bows have come as part of a 'kit'. On the advice of a friend I decided to upgrade the strings and my bow in an attempt to divest myself of some of the 'beginner' sound. It is a lovely bow to play with, I'm very glad I went with the reviews and made the purchase. Very, very pleased with my new bow.

Cons: None

Other: I couldn't believe how quickly everything came too! Even if you ask for next day delivery up here I was really expecting it to arrive tomorrow. :-( Yay!

Great bow just wish I’d bought one sooner

Pros: I just love this new bow. Great weight and balance. It has really made a difference to the tone of the violin. I wasn’t sure about a non wood bow but I am now. Only wish I had bought one sooner.

Cons: None

Happy fiddler!

Pros: Noticeable improvement on the bow which came with the violin. It is both better made and easier to play. I'm also sure it will not hold back my journey in learning to play the violin.

Cons: Nothing.

Other: Well packaged and delivered very quickly.

A very good quality buy, at a good value price.

Pros: Very light, but strong and with a firm feel.

Cons: It was black, with no option of another colour. I would have liked the option of a golden wood colour, to match my violin.

Great bow for good price.

Pros: This is a great bow for the price. My daughter who is grade 7-8 standard absolutely loves it. We had some problems with delivery due to Post Office pre-Christmas chaos, but Stringzone has been very helpful and we received the bow eventually.

Cons: Non.
