Description
Versatile shoulder rest with flexible metal base which can been bent to the required shape. Available in five sizes. This rest can be customised to a very high level and is ideal for players who feel their instrument can slip down, especially in the higher playing positions. The hook can be moved to provide a good anchorage at the preferred playing position. Adjustable height and tilt combined with a bendable plate allow an almost infinite range and will enable the vast majority of players to achieve a comfortable playing experience.

Amazing shoulder rest. Worth every penny.
Pros: This was a purchase for my daughter. She absolutely loves it. She has very slender shoulders and longish neck and struggled with her old shoulder rest to keep her 16” viola up. This is great solution.

Best shoulder rest available in my opinion
Pros: This shoulder rest allows you to totally concentrate on the music and your technique. Fully adjustable , you can fit it to your shape and preference and it won't move. You just don't know it's there!

Pros: Perfect fit for me after a long search. Comparatively expensive but well worth it.
Cons: Does not collapse and does not fit in my viola case but it works on my viola and that is all that matters.

Secure and Comfortable Support
Pros: It takes time to get the exact fit, but the remarkable range of adjustment makes for secure and comfortable support for your instrument.
Cons: Nothing, so far.
Other: I would suggest that the initial adjustment of the Bonmusica is best done with assistance. The String Zone staff member was very helpful when dealing with my telephone enquiry, and delivery was quick.

Overall, very good
Pros: Good for someone like me with a long neck, good adjustable distance in between bout and neck.
Cons: Slightly too flimsy, I snapped the metal after a year of having my old one
Other: Definitely the most comfortable shoulder rest available on the market

Pros: Very adjustable; good quality; small contact area with instrument.
Cons: I have a Tertis model viola and I found the ribs of this instrument too deep for the Bonmusica even on its lowest setting to avoid pushing my neck up and back. It wasn't the fault of the Bonmusica design, just that it didn't suit this particular instrument.
Other: I think the Bonmusica would be very comfortable on a more regular sized viola.

Pros: Great Shoulder rest - just what i was looking for! Easy to adjust so it fits my shoulder perfectly, which is hard as they are rounded from years of playing piano. It has greatly improved my posture and so advanced my projection and overall sound.
Cons: Nothing to complain about so far after 6 months of constant use!
