Versatile shoulder rest with flexible metal base which can been bent to the required shape. Available in five sizes. This rest can be customised to a very high level and is ideal for players who feel their instrument can slip down, especially in the higher playing positions. The hook can be moved to provide a good anchorage at the preferred playing position. Adjustable height and tilt combined with a bendable plate allow an almost infinite range and will enable the vast majority of players to achieve a comfortable playing experience.

Pros: The hook shape allows less chin pressure and relieves tension on posterior neck muscles. No more stiff necks!
Cons: Unable to carry it in instrument case but this is a small price to pay.

Pros: Supported and redistributed the weight of my viola really well. Very comfortable and adjustable to exactly the right angle to suit me. Fantastic for encouraging good playing posture.
Cons: Takes longer to put the instrument down & pick up again during rests!
Other: The day I got this, I took it to a 10 day workshop where I was playing approx. 6 hrs or so per day. Usually I feel like my arms are going to drop off by the end, but the Bon Musica made such a difference that I didn't feel any stiffness or pain at all. I even went to a quartet rehearsal the next day!

Pros: I like the Bonmusica because it is so comfortable and adaptable on the shoulder - the most comfortable and supportive rest I know.
Cons: The case need to be very spacious for this rest to fit in it - mine is, and that's OK, but I have to keep my Bonmusica violin rest out of the case. I still like them best, though!

Tricky to set up but worth it.
Pros: Now that I have set it up, I'm very pleased with it.
Cons: I found setting it up quite a trial and a bit fiddly but put this down to the fact that, as it is so adjustable and versatile in its design, this is a necessary step to have to go through.
