It sounds great and is a joy to play on.

Pros: Easy to play on. Great clarity of sound on the bottom string- really suits my bass.

Cons: The first one I bought broke within a year- I'm hoping this one will last a bit longer!

Other: Fantastic service from the String Zone- my string arrived the next day.

Pros: Bel Cantos are my favourite strings, this is just like all the rest. Clean smooth tone, nice feel under the bow, very responsive

Pros: Very fine string, plays in very quickly and has better response than pirastro equivalent, longevity is an issue and they have been known to snap.

Cons: Longevity and breakable
