Pros: I bought it for my daughter. I knew it was a good product as I use a Wolf shoulder rest myself. I first got her a 2.99 shoulder rest but it fell apart pretty much straight away so that was a waste of time! However, this product is well worth the money and I recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Very stable, flexible, easy to adjust for all types of set up, comfortable
Cons: Wolf Shoulder Rests have a tendency to scratch the back of violins with the adjustable bar. This put me off from buying one for a long time, but after borrowing my colleagues Wolf, hers was much more stable so didn't ever cause damage. Mine on the other hand is a bit loose, so I have to be careful.

Pros: comfortabe, secure
Cons: nothing to criticize
Other: I had been using a very common shoulder rest prior to this, a simple pad with a velvety covering - fine as far as it went - and then I tried a friend's Wolfe Forte Secondo and was immediately impressed by how much more secure it felt. The pad is very grippy and the curved shape seems to sit more naturally against the body. Each side of the rest can be adjusted independently to achieve the best angle. The rubber feet are quite soft and chunky and attach securely to the violin. I'm very impressed with this rest, definitely an improvement for me.
