Description

For 3/4 and full size violin. Universally popular shoulder rest. The metal base allows the rest to be bent to shape as required. The Wolf Primo Violin Shoulder Rest comes with two telescopic screws on either side and can be adjusted to any height between 0.5mm and 8cm.

Cons: Where it rotates to change the angle towards the body, this could be a bit tighter (maybe screwable) as this would work better for me

Easily adjustable with variations in height

Pros: Loved the way it is bendable to fit my shoulder and is perfect for me as I have a longer neck. It has corrected my posture so much and I no longer slouch when playing as I did with my smaller shoulder rest because it was to short for my neck. Very easily adjustable with lots of variation in heights. Would definitely recommend.

Cons: Occasionally slips form original position when playing a very expressive piece of music but mostly stays in place.

Adjustable, affordable . comfortable.

Pros: It was comfortable, I would recommend this one if you are going to use one.

Cons: its not indestructible to a labrador.

Other: it was fantastic, then the dog pinched it, took it under the bed and chewed all the foam off. if I was to buy a replacement this would be it.

Good quality, more functional than pretty.

Pros: Good surface area; solid yet still flexible, easy to adjust.

Cons: A little pricey, can appear bulky, not aesthetically pleasing as some of the other shoulder rests.

Other: I am an ABSOLUTE beginner, so have very little to compare against.

Great Shoulder Rest

Pros: I found this shoulder rest to be comfortable. It's very adjustable in height and it also tilts. I have found I can play for longer periods without pain.

Excellent

Pros: This is great for my daughter who could not get on with a standard shoulder rest. We think because she has a long neck. This one is great as it is adjustable and the violin sits higher and so is more comfortable for her.
